Bom saber
Here you will find templates for saddle-stitched booklets in A4 and A5, portrait or landscape, with 8 to 96 pages. The page count is always a multiple of four, because every sheet becomes four pages when it is folded in the middle. In the editor you work in spreads, the way a reader sees the booklet: the cover shows the back and the front side by side, followed by the spreads inside. When you add or move a spread, the page numbers renumber themselves. Change the text, colours and photos right in your browser. When the booklet is ready, download it as PDF Print with single pages in reading order and 3 mm bleed, or as spreads.
Perguntas frequentes
- What does saddle-stitched mean?
- The sheets are placed inside each other, folded in the middle and stapled through the fold. Every booklet here is set up that way.
- How many pages can a booklet have?
- The page count must be a multiple of four, because every folded sheet gives four pages. The templates here have 8 to 96 pages, and you can filter by page count at the top of the page.
- Why is the back next to the front in the editor?
- The cover is one spread: unfolded with the outside up, the back is on the left and the front on the right. The spreads inside follow, pages 2 and 3, pages 4 and 5 and so on, and the page numbers follow along when you add or move a spread.
- Should I send single pages or spreads to the print shop?
- Ask your print shop what it prefers. When you download PDF Print, you choose between single pages in reading order with 3 mm bleed and spreads.
