How big is an A4 brochure when unfolded?

When should I choose A4 over A5?

Choose A4 when the photos should be large or there is a lot of text, as in a property presentation, a product sheet or an annual report.

Can a photo run across the fold?

Yes. Photos and shapes can run across a fold and fill the whole spread. Just keep the text away from the fold so it stays readable.

Bon à savoir

The 4-page A4 brochure is printed on an A3 sheet and folded in the middle, and it suits product sheets, property presentations, annual reports and programmes. The 6-page one is printed on a sheet of almost 63 cm and folded twice with a roll fold or a zigzag fold, so you can tell a story page by page. Change the text, colours and photos right in your browser, and add your own pictures. The fold lines and a safe margin on every page show where the text should stay. When the brochure is finished, download it as PDF Print in spreads with fold marks and 3 mm bleed, or as single pages in reading order. Then it is ready for the print shop.
