Every sticker is 75 × 75 mm and has a ready cut line in its own cut colour, CutContour, which the cutting machine follows. The colour runs at least 2 mm past the line, so no white edges appear, and the text keeps its distance from the edge. Questions fréquentes

What is a CutContour cut line?

It is the line the machine cuts the sticker out along. It sits in a cut colour of its own, CutContour, so it is never printed with the other colours and is only read by the cutting machine.

Why does the colour run past the cut line?

That is bleed. The cut can shift a little, and when the colour runs 2 mm past the line, the edge looks clean all the way round.

Can I change the shape of the sticker?

Yes. The cut line is a shape like any other in the editor. If you move the content around, move the background and the cut line with it, so the text stays at least 2 mm from the edge.

Which file should I send to the print shop?

Choose PDF Print and turn on “Include cut lines”. The print shop then gets a CMYK PDF with 3 mm bleed and the cut line as a separate colour, CutContour.
