The templates have patterns, checked and striped backgrounds, big numbers, small icons and fields you can fill in with a pen. The corners are rounded by 3 mm, so the label sticks well and does not lift at the corners. The cut line sits in the cut colour CutContour right on the edge, and the background runs 3 mm into the bleed. The text stays at least 2 mm from the edge. - Why does the label have rounded corners?
- Sharp corners lift easily from jars and boxes. With corners rounded by 3 mm the label sticks better and is easier to peel off the sheet.
- Can I have sharp corners instead?
- Yes. The cut line is a square with rounded corners, and you can set the corners to 0 in the editor if your print shop would rather cut straight corners.
- Which file should I send to the print shop?
- Choose PDF Print and turn on “Include cut lines”. The cut line then sits on its own plate in the cut colour CutContour.
