How big is a round label?

It is 40 mm across. The document is 40 × 40 mm with 3 mm bleed, and the cut line is the circle right on the edge.

Why are the corners coloured in the editor?

The corners lie outside the cut line and are cut away. The colour runs all the way out, so the edge looks clean even if the cut shifts a little.

Which file should I send to the print shop?

Choose PDF Print and turn on “Include cut lines”. The round cut line then sits on its own plate in the cut colour CutContour.

A round label of Ø40 mm fits the lid of a jam jar, a coffee bag, a box of chocolates and the seal of a parcel.

Gut zu wissen

The size is small, so the templates are built to be read from a distance: a short name, a clear symbol and text around the edge like a seal. You will find labels for honey, marmalade, coffee, tea, soap and candles, for “Thank you for your order” and “Handmade”, and for offers like “20 % off”. Every label is 40 × 40 mm with a round cut line in the cut colour CutContour right on the edge and 3 mm bleed around it. The text stays at least 2 mm from the edge. Change the text and colours in your browser, and download as PDF Print with cut lines for printing and contour cutting.
