What makes the difference

    Pure black becomes pure K, and the CMYK values you type come through as they are. Gold and silver are printed on plates of their own.

Questions and answers

  • Which colour profile do you use?

    ISO Coated v2 (300%). On Professional you can choose from more print presets.

  • Can you make PDF/X-1a?

    Yes, on Professional, for pages without transparency. A page with transparency is refused instead of being turned into an image.

  • How do cut lines work?

    You draw the cut line in the design and choose its type. In the PDF file it sits on a plate of its own, set to overprint, so the cutting table can find it.

  • Can we make saddle-stitched brochures?

    Yes. Brochures of 4 to 96 pages are edited spread by spread, and the PDF can be downloaded as single pages or spreads.
